Dalian COSCOKHI Ship Engineering Co., Ltd. (DACKS) celebrated the naming ceremony of two newly-built 61,000 DWT bulk carriers with Hull No. DE062/063on 30 July 2019.

DE062/063 are the last two of the three series vessels of 61,000 DWT bulk carriers, which are built for European shipowner. The vessels, with 199.90 meters in length, 32.24 metersin breadth, 18.60 meters in depth, and a design speed of 15.8 knots, achieves anexcellent performance.

DACKS expressed the deep gratitude to the trust and support from the shipowner, and extendedthe best wishes that the vessels would bring a good fortune to the shipowner,and glory to all parties.

In the future,DACKS will further accelerate the technological innovation, optimize the shipdesign, craft the product brand, implement the comprehensive Lean Management,develop the “intelligent manufacturing”, and improve the construction qualityand efficiency. DACKS will design and construct more vessels with optimizedperformance, making contributions to the development of COSCO Shipping Groupand the ambitious project of Maritime Silk Road of China.
