The shipyard layout is excellent U-shape style with economical efficiency, and was designed under modernized shipbuilding philosophy of hull constructing, outfitting, and painting integration.

Our sub-assembly workshop is the largest in Asia, covering an area of 170,000 square meters, and a building area of 124,000 square meters. We have two docks, one of which is 700 meters long, the longest in China. Our No.2 painting shop has openable roof, through which curved blocks are transported into by 2 sets of 300T jib cranes.

DACKS has advanced production lines, such as: built-up longitudinal line, single panel with longitudinal stiffeners assembly line, parts assembling and welding line, and section steel cutting line; Intelligent manufacturing equipment, such as full printer machine, intelligent welding equipment, straight flange welding intelligent robot, plasma cutting machines, and number control laser cutting machines and FCB+RF welding machine, etc.; 140 lifting equipments, including four 800T gantry cranes, and two 300T gantry cranes, the process combination  of lifting equipments is most advanced in China.
